The more you talk to people about spider veins, the more you realize the majority of people out there have them and we are all equally annoyed by them! Who wants their legs to look like spiders are crawling on them?? The name "spider veins" came about because these veins sometimes look like just that...spiders! So unless your Halloween costume requires spiders on your legs...let's discuss getting rid of those pesky veins!
Depending on the severity, there are actually several different treatment options out there. Here at Premier Aesthetic & Laser Centre we offer two procedures for spider veins: Sclerotherapy and Laser Treatment. These procedures are for the small spider veins we talked about earlier. If you have bigger, "ropey" and painful varicose veins there are other treatment options available for you. Once the large varicose veins are treated, sclerotherapy and laser treatments can help take care of the small spider veins.
